My name is Gana Makhalova and I am a professional English/Russian and German translator and Russian tutor based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
I am a member of NGTV and bureau Wbtv, registered under N 26971.
I am a trained Russian translator with a degree in Linguistics. Originally from Georgia.
I graduated from Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University in Russia (Department of Translation/Interpretation and Multilingual Studies).
In 2013 I migrated to Germany, Heidelberg, where I followed German qualification courses, and from 2015 to 2016 by WIFI (Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut) - Institute for Economic Promotion of the Austrian Economic Chambers) in Salzburg, Austria.
I have been based in the Netherlands for over 6 years working closely with a large number of the Dutch and Russian translation agencies and European companies as an in-house translator. I am equally happy to assist individual English or Russian-speaking clients with my Russian Language services.
I offer first-hand knowledge in many aspects of corporate affairs, the public sector, tourism and others, to both corporate and private clients. This is based on extensive practical experience gained as a full-time Russian translator.

The legalised translations in the Netherlands are provided by a sworn translator, who is a member of professional associations, such as NGTV or Bureau Wbtv (Dutch Bureau of Sworn Interpreters and Translators) and who is sworn in by a district court of the Netherlands.
As a full member of the NGTV and Bureau Wbtv I am qualified to provide certified Russian to English/German or English/German to Russian translation of corporate and private documents for official use in the Netherlands and most other European countries as well as many other English-speaking countries of the world.

HOW IT WORKS
I usually work with a high quality scanned copy of the original document. I can prepare a translation draft of a short document such as a Birth Certificate within one working day. When the draft translation is ready I will email it to you for verification of names.
The translator’s certificate will contain the certification text, my contact details and my Wbtv membership number; it will be signed and stamped.

Completing the document translation, performing proofreading and sending back to the customer the draft for approval and the hard copy of the document by mail.

DELIVERY
The completed translation will be posted to you with the original translation accompanied by a translator’s certificate. The documents are dispatched by post or electronically once I receive proof of payment.
